Fishing Pond

Oct-8-2009 By admin

My fishing pond had been completely dried for the last couple of years but with the recent down pours, it is completely full again.

I will be stocking it with Large Mouth Bass and Channel Catfish sometime very soon. I will also put in some Minnows as well for food purposes for the Bass and Catfish.

My fishing pond was a great source of fresh fish when it was full of water in the past. Anytime I felt like having fresh fish for lunch or dinner, I would fish in my own private pond with success every time.

My favorite fish is the Bass. I love it! Usually when friends want to fish, I tell them they can take all the Catfish and Perch they can catch, but to leave the Bass alone. If you have never tried fried Bass, you don’t know what you’re missing! It is very good.

My fishing pond isn’t that big, but it is big enough to offer countless hours of fishing pleasure and a source of fresh fish for deep frying.
